The Meander is a peaceful meadow, providing a place for relaxation, socialising and play within a rich green and blue landscape. Protected from the bustle of surrounding streets, this opportunity for uninterrupted moments will enhance the quality of life in Osterley.

Driven by a commitment to sustainability, the proposals will deliver a zero-carbon neighbourhood and will provide 2 hectares of new natural landscapes with over 300 new trees to ensure an overall net gain in biodiversity – benefitting wildlife, residents and the wider community.

Osterley Place – will stitch into its surrounding context with new streets and spaces which link into the wider Transport and Connectivity Strategy for the Great West Corridor, including the clean air routes and the Boston Manor Boardwalk. New pedestrian access points around the perimeter of the site will and enable east-west and north-south routes to weave through, all converging at The Clearing.

The Tesco store will be relocated on the adjacent Homebase site as part of a wider mixed-use proposal known as Syon Gardens. The London Plan designates the site within the Great West Road Opportunity Area – and will deliver a minimum of 7,500 new homes and up to 14,000 new jobs.

With over £30m invested in local infrastructure, new and safer pedestrian and cycle routes will be designed in tandem with improvements to the local road network. The creation of the Mobility Hub along Grant Way will provide a new focus for sustainable movement within the local area, offering important information and improved bus facilities, connecting to Greenford, Ealing, Bulls Bridge and West Middlesex Hospital.
